Instead of a server-side account, we store a few small values in your own browser's local storage. These stay on your device, and we cannot read them remotely:
course_token, course_tx, course_amt — your unlock token and its transaction reference, so the course stays unlocked on return visits. The token is sent back to our server only to check that it is valid.banner_start, banner_dismissed — the state of the discount countdown banner, so it is not restarted or re-shown on every visit.Clearing your browser data simply re-locks the page; you can unlock it again with your course password.
